Desamuduru not in Sankranthi race?

The buzz in the film industry is that the much touted Puri Jagannadh and Allu Arjun’s combo flick, Desamuduru, has been postponed to January last week. It will not be competing for Sankranthi with other biggies – Yogi and Maharadhi as it was earlier planned. Grapevine has it that Allu Aravind is in favor of postponing the film from Sankranthi to later release. As Annavaram hitting the screens on December 29th, he might have felt not competing with a family member. Although official confirmation has not been made, distributors say it would release on Janauary 29th.
